The Ontario Home Builders’ Association announced the finalists for the 2012 Award of Distinction. The awards will be presented at the Village of Blue Mountain Conference Centre in Collingwood on September 24, and the list is full of BILD member companies.
While there’s not enough space to list BILD reps from all 34 categories, which include building, design, sales and marketing, BILD is proud to say that our members have practically swept the Prestige Awards this year.
Among the finalists for Low-Rise Project of the Year is BILD Builder of the Year Geranium Homes with Forest Trail Estates in Stoufville, Brookfield Homes, whose Pathways project was up for BILD’s Project of the Year at this year’s BILD Awards, and Aspen Ridge Homes’ King Oaks. It’s worth pointing out that Aspen Ridge was awarded the People’s Choice Award in April, albeit for its STUDIO on Richmond project in downtown Toronto.
On the high-rise side, Lindvest Properties is looking to take home its second Project of the Year trophy for B.Streets after winning it at the BILD level. It will have to beat Monarch’s Picasso project in downtown Toronto, as well as Signature Developments’ Tao in Richmond Hill.
For the most prestigious award of the night – Ontario Home Builder of the Year – we’ll be cheering for BILD members Minto Group and Monarch Corporation. Congratulations to our member finalists, and on behalf of the Association, we wish you the best of luck in Collingwood!
